DEFINING SNMP PARAMETERS

The modem has an SNMP agent that allows it to be managed remotely by a Network Management System (NMS). See page 72 for more information about managing the modem through SNMP.

1Click System from the Main Menu.

2Click SNMP Parameters on the System Menu.

3Do the following:

‹Select Enable Trap Sending if you want the modem to send traps to a server.

ŒEnter the Trap Server IP Address for the server to which the traps will be sent.

•Enter the Trap Server Net Mask (subnet mask) for the server to which the traps will be sent.
