CONFIGURING THE WAN BRIDGING/ROUTING SESSIONS

From the WAN Connections page, you configure parameters that set up communication between the modem and the service provider through Bridging/Routing sessions. You can set up the number of sessions indicated for each modem. The number of sessions you can set up is also the number of simultaneous sessions the modem can support:

•32 sessions for a 400F

•32 sessions for a 700F

Port

Designates each WAN port for configuring and monitoring sessions.

Connection

Displays the name of the session.

Status

Displays the connection state.

 

Up - Session is up.

 

Down - Session is down.

 

Connecting - Session is setting up.
