Upper King Pin Bushing Slipping:

Subject:

It is possible that the upper King Pin Bushing may loose retention and work down from the bore. This could result in damage to the frame, Pin and Arm.

Service Required:

1.Visually inspect the bushing location in the top king pin bore. The bushing should be flush with the bottom of the bore.

2.If the Bushing is in the proper place there will be no need to make this repair.

3.If the busing appears to have moved downward in the bore, refer to the King Pin bushing replacement section in the operators manual / Service Manual for the proper procedure to

support the boom while removing it. The turning arm and boom will need to be removed. Using Locktite Brand 271 adhesive

(Purchased Locally) Install new bushings in the upper and lower Pin holes. Use proper Drivers when installing busings.
