Using the USB Duplicator

6.7 Calc. Checksum

The Calculate Checksum function computes a checksum for the contents of the source drive. This alphanumeric can be used to ensure that no minor changes due to alteration or virus have occurred on the source drive since its last use.

1.Use UP or DOWN arrow to scroll through the menu until Utility is displayed on the LCD screen. Press the OK button to select or press ESC to go to the next setting.

2.Press OK and scroll to Calc. Checksum. The LCD will display the following status:

3.Press OK to select. Depending on content, some time will be spent calculating the Checksum. Once done, the LCD will display the calculated Checksum.
