loc ated immedia tely inside the hood acc ess door.

To help maintain the protecti ve fil m coa ting on pol ishe d stainl ess ste el, cle an the exterior of the cabine t with a clean er recommended for stainless steel surf ace s. Spra y the cle aning age nt on a clean cloth and wipe with the grain of the stainl ess steel.

NOTE : Nev er use hydrochloric acid (muriat ic acid) on sta inless steel.

CHARCOAL FILTER

The cha rcoal (odor and polluti on control filter) is loc ate d immed iate ly inside the hood acce ss door. The cha rcoal fil ter shou ld be ins pected for contam inants

on a regular bas is. Replacement must be made at a minimum of three-mo nth intervals — more often if heavy contamina nts are visible or if the filter no longer contro ls odors . To remove the fil ter, grasp on bot h ends and pull out from either side of the hood.

WHEN REPLACING THE FILTER, MAKE CERTAIN THE AIR FLOW ARROW POINTS TOWARD THE HOOD FAN. MAKE CERTAIN THE FILTER IS REPLACED IN THE FOUR-S IDED METAL FRAME PROVIDED WITH THE HOOD.

GREASE FILTERS &

METAL HOUSING (PLENUM )

The metal grease filter is located immediately inside the hood. Cle aning frequency should be based on oven usage. Gre ase- laden products such as red meat, pou ltry, etc., require cle aning frequency of at least once a week. Remove the grease filter by pulling it

str aight out of the housing from either side. Place the filter in the dishwasher or wash sep arat ely by placing in hot, soapy water until all grease and particles have been removed. Rinse thoroughly. Allow the filt er to air dry before reinstallin g.

Cle an the interior metal housing (plenum) wit h a damp clo th and any good commercial deter gent or grease solvent at the recommended strengt h. Avoid the use of abrasive cle aning compounds ,

chlo ride-based clea ners, or cle aners cont aining quaternary salts. Use a degreasing agent if neces sary.
