Any applian ce that is not furni shed with a powe r supply cord but include s a set of cast ers must be provi ded with a tet her. Adequ ate means must be provi ded to limit the movemen t of thi s appl iance wit hout depending on or tra nsmitting stre ss to the ele ctr ical con duit. The fol lowin g requi rements apply :
1.Caste rs must be a maxi mum height of 6" (152m m).
2.Two of the casters mus t of be the locki ng type.
3.Such mobile applianc es or appliances on mobile stands must be inst all ed wit h the use of a flexible con nect or secured to the buil ding str ucture.
A mountin g connect or for a restraining device
is locat ed on the lowe r back fla nge of the appliance chassis or on an ove n stand, approxi mate ly
18" (457 mm) from the floor. A flexi ble connect or is not sup plied or available from the factory.
