The Export button exports a highlighted section or the whole program (if no section
is highlighted) as a text file to the client local hard drive or a network share
accessible from the client computer.
The Print button allows you to print a highlighted section or the whole program (if
no section is highlighted) to a printer accessible from the client computer.
The Save button will save the PPCL program in the editor to the panel, line by line.
Each line is validated upon download and confirmed by the server. Any errors are
returned to the client as an error code and error ASCII string. The error ASCII
string displays if you hover over the rejected program line.
Tips for Using the PPCL Editor A program name must be provided before a new PPCL program can be saved. The
program name cannot be edited.
The command priority is optional and defaults to 16. Re-entering/saving a program
with the same name allows the user to change its priority.
Lines and sections of PPCL code can be reused (copied or cut, and pasted).
Using the PPCL Editor 1. Click the PPCL icon from the Create/Edit bar.
The PPCL Editor window displays.
2. Click Select a Panel at the top of the left pane of the PPCL Editor window to
display available panels.
3. Select the desired panel by clicking the panel name.
4. Click the + button at the bottom left of the PPCL Editor window.
The PPCL Editor window displays a blank programming space.
5. Enter the new lines of PPCL, or copy and paste from existing lines of PPCL.
6. Click Save.
The Save button will be grayed out once the modifications are complete.
Enable or Disable PPCL Lines
1. Enable or disable lines of PPCL by clicking the Enable or Disable button.
The Enable Lines or Disable Lines window displays.
