Changing the login Time-out setting
The login time-out op tion allows you to se t the period of t ime that you
can be logged into the Router’s advanced se tup interface� T he timer
starts when there ha s been no activi ty� For example, imag ine you have
made some changes in t he advanced setup interface, then left your
computer alone without clicking “Logout ”� Assuming the time -out is set
to 10 minutes, 10 minutes after you leave, the login session will exp ire�
You will have to log into the Rou ter again to make any more changes�
The login time-out op tion is for secur ity purposes a nd the default is set
to 10 minutes� note: Only one comp uter can be logg ed into the Router’s
advanced setup interf ace at one time�

The Router ships with N O password entered � If you wish to add a
password for greater se curity, you can set a password here� Wr ite down
your password and keep i t in a safe place, as you will need i t if you need
to log into the Router in the future� It is a lso recommended that you
set a password if you pl an to use the remote management feat ure of
your Router�
Changing system settings
The “System Settings” page is where you c an enter a new adm inistrator
password, set the time zo ne, enable remote management, and turn on
and off the NAT function o f the Router�
