Router after the Router has been set up to connect to the Internet�

In order for your compu ter to properly c ommunicate with you r Router, you will nee d to change your Ma c computer’s TCP/IP sett ings to DHCP�

up for a static IP conne ction
type� Write the addres s
information in the tabl e
below� You will need to enter
this information into the
Router�
4� If not already set, at “ Configure:”, choose “Us ing DHCP Server”�
This will tell the compu ter to obtain an IP address from the Router�
5� Close the window� If you
made any changes, the
following window will
appear� Click “Save”�
Restart the computer� When the computer restarts, your network
settings are now configured for use with the Router�
1� Pull down the Apple me nu� Select “Cont rol Panels” and se lect
“TCP/I P”�
2� You will see the TCP/IP control p anel� Select “Eth ernet Built-In” or
“Ethernet” in the “Conn ect via:” drop-d own menu (1)
