Important factors for Placement and setup
Your wireless connection will be stronger t he closer your co mputer is
to your Router Typical indoor op erating range fo r wireless device s is
between 100 and 200 fee t
In the same way, your wireles s connection and performance wi ll degrade
somewhat as the distan ce between your R outer and connec ted devices
increases This may or may not be notice able to you As you m ove
further from your Rou ter, connection spe ed may decrease Factors that
can weaken signals simp ly by getting in th e way of your networ k’s radio
waves are metal applianc es or obstructi ons, and walls
If you have concerns abo ut your network’s pe rformance that might
be related to range or o bstruction facto rs, try moving t he computer to
a position between fi ve and 10 feet from th e Router in order to see if
distance is the proble m If difficulti es persist even a t close range, pl ease
contact Belkin Technical Support
