Hold the frothing jug at an angle so
that steam wand and/or the frothing
attachment sits just below the surface of
the heating milk and the steam will move
the milk around the inside of the jug in a
circular motion.
NOTE: The espr esso machine fea tures
a swivel steam wand a ssembly so
the position of t he steam wand can
be changed to a comf ortable angl e.
HOW TO TEXTuRE MILK FOR A CAppuCCINO OR LATTÉ
When the milk starts to increase in
volume, immerse the steam wand and/
or frothing attachment deeper into the
jug to heat the milk.
Hold the jug at an angle with one hand
and place your other hand on the outer
base of the stainless frothing jug.
When the base of the jug becomes too
hot to touch, set the Selector Control
to the ‘Standby’ position, stopping
the steaming function before
removing the jug. A pumping noise will
sound for a short time, do not be
alarmed as there will be a five second
delay prior to the machine carrying out
the Auto-purge function.
Pour the steamed milk into each cup of
freshly brewed espresso coffee and
spoon in the frothing milk, in the
following ratios:
Cappuccino - 13 espresso, 13 steamed milk,
13 frothed milk
Latté - 13 espresso topped with steamed milk
and approximately ½ inch frothed milk, traditionally
served in a glass.
NOTE: After 5 mi nutes of continu ous
steaming, the m achine will
automatical ly disable the st eam
function. The s team and hot water
lights will flas h. When this occu rs
return the sele ctor control to t he
‘Standby’ position.

results use col d fresh milk (low
fat milk will frot h easier). Al ways

immediately a fter using the s team
function, th is machine featu res an
auto-purge fu nction. This en sures
that ground cof fee will not be bur nt
by the initial wat er flow from the
thermoblock b eing too hot. Inst ead
this water is auto matically rel eased
internally int o the drip tray ensu ring
that the intern al thermosta t is at
optimal tempe rature for extr acting
coffee. Your coffe e will always
be extracted at t his optimal
temperature e nsuring only t he best
flavored coffee i s achieved.

CONTROL IS IN THE ‘STANDBY’ pOSITION BEFORE REMOVINg THE FROTHINg jug.
