Storing numbers for easy dialing
You can set up your machine to do following types of easy dial ing:
One-Touch, Speed-Dia l and Groups for Broadcasting fa xes. When
you dial a quick-dial number, the LCD shows the name, if you stored
it, or the number.
Storing One-Touch Dial numbers
Your machine has One-Touch keys where you can
store fax or phone numbers fo r automatic dialing.
Two numbers can be stored on ea ch One-Touch
key. To access the second number, which is shown
in a black square on the contro l panel, hold down
Shift as you press the One-Touch key.

One-Touch keys are located on the left side of the
control panel.

Press Menu/Set, 2, 3, 1.

Press the One-Touch key where
you want to store a number.

Enter the phone or fax numb er (up to 20 digits).
Press Menu/Set.
■If you want to enter a pause in the dialing sequence (for
example, to access an outsid e line), press Redial/Pause
as you are entering the digi ts.
Each key press of Redial/Pause enters a 3.5 second
pause when the number is diale d, displayed by a dash on
the screen.
Quick-Dial numbers and dialing optionsIf you lose electrical powe r, the quick-dial numbers that are in
the memory will not be lost.
