Programming your pa ger number
When Paging is selected, yo ur machine dials the pager number
you’ve programmed, and then di als your Personal Identificati on
Number (PIN). This activates your pager so you will know that you
have a voice (FAX-1940CN only ) or fax message in the memory.

Press Menu/Set, 2, 5, 1.

Press ▲ or ▼ to select Paging.

Enter your pager phone n umber followed by # # (u p to 20 digits).
Press Menu/Set.
Do not include the area code if it is the same as that of your
machine.
For example, press 1 8 0 0 5 5 5 1 2 3 4 # #.

If your pager needs a PIN, ent er the PIN, press #, press
Redial/Pause, enter your fax number followed b y # #.
Press Menu/Set.
(For example, press 1 2 3 4 5 # Redial/Pause 1 8 0 0 5 5 5
1 2 1 2 # #)

If you do not need a PIN, pres s Redial/Pause, enter your fax
number followed by # #.
Press Menu/Set.
(For example, press Redial/Pause 1 8 0 0 5 5 5 3 4 3 4 # #)

Press Stop/Exit.
■You cannot change a Paging nu mber or PIN remotely.
■If you have set Paging, a backup copy of the received fax will
automatically be printed at the machine.
■If you want to be paged for voice messages make sure you
pressed the MC On/Off key to turn the Message Center on.
