Chapter 5: Local Management

Telnet Connections

Once the module or chassis has a valid IP address, the user can establish a Telnet session with Local Management from any TCP/IP based node on the network. Telnet connections to the 6H122-08 require the community name passwords assigned at the SNMP Community Names screen of either the 6C105 chassis, or the module. For additional information about community names, refer to Section 5.8. Refer to the instructions included with the Telnet application for information about establishing a Telnet session.
