• Calculation of standard exposure is based on the specified metering method (=168).

•You can customize camera operation so that turning the <y> ring adjusts the shutter speed and turning the <7> dial adjusts the aperture value (=206).

Adjusting the Flash Output

Choose from the three flash levels in <D> mode.

1Enter <D> mode. zzSet the mode dial to <D>.

2Configure the setting.

zzPress the <r> button and immediately turn the <y> ring to choose the flash level, and then press the <m> button.

XXnce the setting is complete, [X] is displayed.

• You can also set the flash level by choosing [X] in the FUNC. menu (=89), or by accessing <n> (=91) and choosing [Flash Output] in [Flash Settings] on the [4] tab.

•You can set the flash level in <M> or <B> mode by accessing <n> (=91), choosing [Flash Settings] on the [4] tab, and then setting [Flash Mode] to [Manual].

•You can also access the [Flash Settings] <n> screen by pressing the <r> button and then the <n> button.
