Viewing Individual Images in a Group

Grouped images shot in [] mode (=158) are generally displayed together, but they can also be viewed individually.

1 Choose an image group.

zzPress the <q><r> buttons or turn the <7> dial to choose an image labeled

[], and then press the <m> button.

2View individual images in the group.

zzPressing the <q><r> buttons or turning the <7> dial will display only images in the group.

zzPressing the <o> button will display [Display all images]. Press <m> to cancel group playback.

During group playback (step 2), you can browse through images quickly “Navigating Through Images in an Index” (=224) and magnify them “Magnifying Images” (=233). You can protect, erase, or print all images in a group at once or add them to a photobook by choosing [All Images in Group] in “Protecting Images” (=236), “Erasing All Images” (=241), “Adding Images to the Print List (DPOF)” (=293), or “Adding Images to a Photobook” (=296).

To ungroup images so that you can view them individually, press the

<n> button, choose [Group Images] on the [1] tab, and then choose [Off] (=91). However, grouped images cannot be ungrouped during individual playback.

You can also view group images individually by touching [] on the screen in step 1.
