Changing a Device Nickname

You can change the device nickname (display name) that is displayed on the camera.

6Change the nickname.

zzChoose [Change Device Nickname].

zzSelect the input field and press the <m> button. Use the keyboard displayed to enter a new nickname (=43).

XXThe camera will return to the display in step 4 and the new nickname will be displayed.

• You can also configure this setting through touch-screen operations (=91).

Returning the Wireless LAN Settings to Default

Return the wireless LAN settings to default if you transfer ownership of the camera to another person, or dispose of it.

1 Access the menu.

zzPress the <n> button.

2Choose [Wireless LAN Settings].

zzMove the zoom lever to choose the [3] tab.

zzPress the <o><p> buttons or turn the <7> dial to choose [Wireless LAN Settings], and then press the <m> button.
