
Troubleshooting
•Adjust brightness by using flash exposure compensation or changing the flash output level (=195, 197).
•Increase the ISO speed (=169).
Subjects in flash shots look too bright, highlights are
•Shoot within flash range (=335).
•Set the flash mode to [!] (=111).
•Adjust brightness by using flash exposure compensation or changing the flash output level (=195, 205).
White dots or similar image artifacts appear in flash shots.
•This is caused by light from the flash reflecting off dust or airborne particles.
Shots look grainy.
•Lower the ISO speed (=169).
•High ISO speeds in some shooting modes may cause grainy images (=139).
Subjects are affected by

Recording to the memory card takes too long, or continuous shooting is slower.

The Babies or Children icon does not display.
•The Babies and Children icons will not display if the birthday is not set in face information (=113). If the icons still do not display even when you set the birthday,
Touch AF/Touch Shutter cannot be activated.
•Touch AF and Touch Shutter cannot be activated by touching the edges of the screen. Try touching closer to the center of the screen.
