Adjusting Basic Camera Functions

2Switch to the destination time zone.

zzPress the <o><p> buttons or turn the <7> dial to choose [ World], and then press the <n> button.

XX[ ] is now shown on the shooting screen (=314).

• Adjusting the date or time while in [] mode (=264) will automatically update your [ Home] time and date.

Screen Brightness

Adjust screen brightness as follows.

zzChoose [LCD Brightness], and then press the <q><r> buttons to adjust the brightness.

• For maximum brightness, press and hold the <p> button for at least one second when the shooting screen is displayed or when in single-image display. (This will override the [LCD Brightness] setting on the [3] tab.) To restore the original brightness, press and hold the <p> button again for at least one second or restart the camera.
