Bit-mapped Fonts

Each character of bit-mapped fonts are composed of grid of small dots and stored in the machine’s memory in dot matrix.

Bit-mapped fonts are fixed in size and specified by the characteristics called “attributes,” such as typeface, stroke weight, style and so on. Various types of bit mapped fonts are produced by the combination of these attributes.
