Figure 9-32 shows the same scenario, except the IP-over-CLNS tunnel endpoint is the GNE and not the
DCN router.
1The IP OSS manages the ONS 15600 and other vendor NEs using TL1 and FTP.
2The other vendor GNE performs mediation for TL1 and FTP, so the DCCs to the ONS 15600
and other vendor NEs are OSI-only.
3CTC/CTM communicates with ONS 15600 NEs over a IP-over-CLNS tunnel. The tunn el is
created from the ONS 15600 node to the external router.
