Removal and Replacement Procedures
2. | Disconnect the fan cable | from the system board | ||

3. | Remove the modem cable from the clip in the heat sink . | |||
4. | Remove the four black M2 × 4.0 screws |
| and the pewter | |
| M2.5 × 7.0 screw that secure the heat sink to the base | |||
| enclosure. | |||
5. | Remove the heat sink. | |||

The fan and heat sink are spared as one assembly. Do not remove the fan from the heat sink.
Reverse the above procedure to install the heat sink. |
