Disconnect the fan cable

from the system board

 

(Figure 5-17).

Remove the modem cable from the clip in the heat sink .

4.

Remove the four black M2 × 4.0 screws

 

and the pewter

 

M2.5 × 7.0 screw that secure the heat sink to the base

 

enclosure.

The fan and heat sink are spared as one assembly. Do not remove the fan from the heat sink.

Reverse the above procedure to install the heat sink.
