If you enable this option, you are causing the router not to respond to ping commands to the public WAN IP address of the router. Pinging public WAN IP addresses is a common method used by hackers to test whether your WAN IP address is valid.
Select a firewall rule that controls access as needed for ping commands. If you do not see the firewall rule you need in the list of firewall rules, go to the Advanced
Select to enable or disable UPnP™ (Universal Plug & Play).
If you are experiencing difficulties when playing online games or even certain applications that use voice data, you may need to enable Gaming Mode for these applications to work correctly. When not playing games or using these voice applications, it is recommended that Gaming Mode be disabled.
