热备用和重建

保护数据的其中一条有效策略是将存储阵列中的可用物理磁盘分配为热备 用设备。热备用会将另一级别的容错添加到存储阵列。

热备用是一个空闲、已通电、备用的物理磁盘,已准备好在磁盘出现故障 时立即投入使用。如果在冗余虚拟磁盘遇到物理磁盘故障的机柜中定义了 热备用,则 RAID 控制器模块会自动启动降级虚拟磁盘的重建。如果没有 定义热备用,则 RAID 控制器模块将在更换物理磁盘插入存储阵列时启动 重建操作。

全局热备用

MD3600f 系列支持全局热备用。全局热备用可更换具有冗余 RAID 级别 的所有虚拟磁盘中出现故障的物理磁盘,只要热备用的容量大于或等于其 所更换物理磁盘中已配置容量的大小 (包括其元数据)。

热备用操作

物理磁盘出现故障时,虚拟磁盘会使用可用的热备用自动重建。安装备用 物理磁盘后,数据将从热备用复制回备用物理磁盘。此功能称为回写。默 认情况下, RAID 控制器模块会根据系统中物理磁盘的数目和容量来自动 配置热备用的数目和类型。

热备用驱动器保护

您可以使用热备用物理磁盘对 RAID 级别 1 RAID 级别 5 磁盘组中出现 的物理磁盘故障提供附加的数据保护。如果在物理磁盘出现故障时热备用 物理磁盘可用,则 RAID 控制器模块可使用冗余数据从出现故障的物理磁 盘重建数据到热备用物理磁盘。当您物理更换出现故障的物理磁盘后,系 统将进行从热备用物理磁盘到更换物理磁盘的回写操作。

如果存储阵列中有受保护的磁盘组和安全型磁盘组,则热备用物理磁盘必 须匹配磁盘组的安全保护功能。例如,非安全型物理磁盘不能用作受保护 的磁盘组的热备用。
