配置:高级功能快照虚拟磁盘

快照虚拟磁盘是存储阵列中虚拟磁盘的时间点映像。它并非包含原始数据 副本的实际虚拟磁盘;而是对特定时间虚拟磁盘上所包含的数据进行引 用。快照虚拟磁盘在逻辑上相当于完整的物理副本。但是,创建快照虚拟 磁盘比创建物理副本要快得多,而占用的磁盘空间更少。

快照所基于的虚拟磁盘称为源虚拟磁盘,它必须是存储阵列中的标准虚拟 磁盘。通常,您会创建快照以使应用程序 (例如备份应用程序)可以在 源虚拟磁盘保持联机和可访问状态时访问快照并读取数据。

注:创建虚拟磁盘快照时,在源虚拟磁盘上不允许进行 I/O 请求。

创建快照虚拟磁盘后,会自动创建包括元数据和写入时复制数据的快照库虚拟 磁盘。唯一存储在快照库虚拟磁盘中的数据是自快照时起发生更改的数据。

快照库虚拟磁盘创建后,对源虚拟磁盘的 I/O 写入请求将恢复。但在修改 源虚拟磁盘上的数据块之前,应将块中要修改的内容复制到快照库虚拟磁 盘中妥善保存。由于快照库虚拟磁盘存储这些数据块中原始数据的副本, 因此对这些数据块的其它更改将仅写入源虚拟磁盘。由于存储在快照库虚 拟磁盘上的数据块只是那些自快照时起发生更改的数据块,因此快照库比 完整的物理副本占用的磁盘空间更少。

创建快照虚拟磁盘时,可指定其位置、容量、计划和其他参数。不需要快 照虚拟磁盘时,可将其禁用或删除。如果禁用快照虚拟磁盘,则下次执行 备份时可以重新创建并重新使用该快照虚拟磁盘。有关详情,请参阅

注:删除快照不会影响源虚拟磁盘上的数据。
