Dell PowerVault Modular Disk Storage Manager (MDSM) 附带事件监测器。 事件监测器将在后台持续运行并监测受管存储阵列上的活动。如果事件监 测器检测到任何严重问题，它可以使用电子邮件、简单网络管理协议 (SNMP) 陷阱信息或二者来通知主机或远程系统。

对于大多数及时且持续的事件通知，请启用每天 24 小时运行的管理站上 的事件监测器。在多个系统上启用事件监测器或是启用事件监测器与 MDSM 的组合会产生重复事件，但这并不表示阵列中存在多个故障。

要使用事件监控器：

•为要监测的受管设备设置警报目标。可能的警报目标包括 Dell Management Console。有关 Dell Management Console 的详细信息， 请访问 dell.com。

•通过将特定受管设备上的 emwdata.bin 文件复制到每个存储管理站 （用于从其接收警报）以复制警报设置。
