受限映射

大量主机在每个存储分区中最多可映射 256 个逻辑单元号码 (LUN) 0 255)。不过,最大映射数会因操作系统变量、故障转移驱动程序问题以及 潜在的数据问题而有所差异。表中所列主机表 9-3存在以下映射限制。

如果尝试将虚拟磁盘映射到超出这些操作系统中限制的某一 LUN,该主 机将无法访问虚拟磁盘。

使用具有 LUN 映射限制的主机类型时的原则:

如果存储分区中已有映射 (超过通过限制的主机类型强加的限值), 则无法将主机适配器更改为受限主机类型。

考虑默认组对 LUN 的访问已达到最大值 256 0 255)并且已将受 限主机类型添加到默认组的情况。在此情况下,与限制的主机类型关 联的主机能够访问 LUN 在其限值内的默认组中的虚拟磁盘。例如,如 果默认组有两个虚拟磁盘映射到 LUN 254 255,则具有受限主机类 型的主机将无法访问这两个虚拟磁盘。

如果默认组禁用已分配的限制主机类型和存储分区,则只能映射总共 32

LUN。创建的所有附加虚拟磁盘都将放入 Unidentified Mappings (未 识别映射)区域。如果其中某一 Unidentified Mappings (未识别映射) 定义了附加映射,则 Define Additional Mapping (定义附加映射)对话 框将显示 LUN 列表,而 Add (添加)按钮不可用。

请勿在 Windows 主机上配置双重映射。

如果具有受限主机类型的主机是特定存储分区的组成部分,则该存储 分区中的所有主机均会限制为该受限主机类型所许可的最大 LUN 数。

如果存储分区已有大于该限制主机类型所许可的映射 LUN,则无法将 具有限制主机类型的主机移动到其中。例如,如果您有只允许 LUN 最 多为 31 的受限主机类型,则无法将该受限主机类型移动到已映射至大 于 31 LUN 的存储分区。
