多路径软件

多路径软件 (也称为故障转移驱动程序)是驻留在主机服务器上的软件, 可管理主机服务器和存储阵列之间的冗余数据路径。

多路径软件确定是否存在多条至虚拟磁盘的路径,并建立至该磁盘的首选 路径。如果首选路径中的任何组件出现故障,多路径软件则会自动将 I/O 请求重新路由至备用路径,以便存储阵列继续运行而不中断。

首选和备用控制器及路径

首选控制器是 RAID 控制器模块,指定为虚拟磁盘或磁盘组的所有者。 在创建虚拟磁盘后,会由 MDSM 自动选择首选控制器。而且可在创建虚 拟磁盘后更改其首选 RAID 控制器模块所有者。如果主机仅连接至一个 RAID 控制器模块,则必须手动将首选所有者分配至主机可访问的 RAID 控制器模块。

在首选控制器出现以下情况时,虚拟磁盘的所有权会从首选控制器移动至 辅助控制器 (也称为备用控制器):

更新固件

涉及导致备用控制器故障转移的事件

首选 RAID 控制器模块用于访问磁盘或主机服务器的路径称为首选路径;冗 余路径称为备用路径。如果故障造成首选路径不可访问,存储阵列将自动使 用备用路径来访问数据。当此状况发生时,机柜状态 LED 闪烁琥珀色。

虚拟磁盘所有权

MDSM 可用于自动构建和查看虚拟磁盘。其使用最佳设置来分拆磁盘组。 在创建虚拟磁盘后,会将其分配至备用 RAID 控制器模块。该默认分配可 提供简单的方法,以实现 RAID 控制器模块的工作负载的负载平衡。
