RAID 级别 1 确保镜像对中每个物理磁盘都位于不同的扩展柜中。从而可使磁

盘组中两个以上的物理磁盘均位于同一扩展柜中。

例如:如果要创建包含六个物理磁盘的磁盘组 (3 个镜像对),通 过指定位于不同扩展柜的每个镜像对中的物理磁盘,您能仅通过 两个扩展柜实现机柜丢失保护。例如:

镜像对 1—机柜1插槽 1 中的物理磁盘和机柜2 插槽 1 中的物理磁盘。

镜像对 2—机柜1插槽 2 中的物理磁盘和机柜2 插槽 2 中的物理磁盘。

镜像对 3—机柜1插槽 3 中的物理磁盘和机柜2 插槽 3 中的物理磁盘。

由于 RAID 级别 1 需要至少两个物理磁盘,因此存储阵列拥有的扩 展柜少于两个时将无法实现机柜丢失保护。

RAID 级别 0 由于 RAID 级别 0 不存在一致性,因此无法实现机柜丢失保护。

主机到虚拟磁盘的映射

创建虚拟磁盘后,必须将其映射至连接至阵列的主机。 配置主机到虚拟磁盘映射的原则:

存储阵列中的每个虚拟磁盘仅可映射到一个主机或主机组。

存储 阵列中的控制器之间可共享主机到虚拟磁盘的映射。

主机组或主机必须使用唯一的 LUN 访问虚拟磁盘。

每台主机都有其专属的 LUN 地址空间。 MDSM 允许不同的主机或主 机组使用相同的 LUN 访问存储阵列中的虚拟磁盘。

并非每个操作系统都具有相同的可用 LUN 号码。
