配置:关于存储阵列

可以使用以下两种方法管理存储阵列:

带外管理

带内管理

带外管理

使用带外管理方法,数据与命令和事件相互独立。数据通过主机至控制器 接口传输,而命令和事件通过管理端口以太网电缆传输。

此管理方法可以配置操作系统和主机适配器支持的最大虚拟磁盘数。最多 可运行八个存储管理工作站同时监视带外管理型存储阵列。此限制不适用 于通过带内管理方法管理存储阵列的系统。

使用带外管理时,必须为每个 RAID 控制器模块的管理以太网端口设置网 络配置。其中包括网际协议 (IP) 地址、子网掩码和网关。如果使用的是动 态主机配置协议 (DHCP) 服务器,则可以启用自动网络配置,但如果使用 的不是 DHCP 服务器,则必须手动输入网络配置。

注:可以使用 DHCP 服务器指定 RAID 控制器模块网络配置 (默认设置)。 不过,如果 DHCP 服务器持续 150 秒不可用,RAID 控制器模块将分配静态 IP 地址。分配给控制器 0 的地址为 192.168.128.101,控制器 1 的地址为 192.168.128.102

带内管理

使用带内管理,命令、事件以及通过主机至控制器接口执行的数据传输。 与带外管理不同,带内管理中的命令和事件与数据是混合在一起的。

通过此管理方法添加存储阵列时,您只需指定主机名或主机的 IP 地址。 添加特定主机名或 IP 地址后,主机代理软件会自动检测连接到该主机的 所有存储阵列。
