HOW TO SCAN FOR VCR CODES

If thecode for your VCR is not in the VCR Codes tables

startingon page 37, complete the following instructions to

scan for your VCR’scode.

1. Make sure yourVCR is on.

2. Hold until lightsturn on (it takes

about five seconds).

3. Release . light flashes.

4. Press the RECALLbutton. lightstays on.

5. Press or untilthe VCRturns OFF. You

will haveto do this repeatedly to scan through all

codes.

Note:I f flashes eighttimes, you have tried

every codein the remote control.

6. Press the MUTE to finish programmingthe remote

control.The light will flash three times.

7. Press whilelooking at the channel number

display on your VCR. If the VCR is trying to

change channelsto Channel 3 (or 4), you have

found the correctcode for your VCR and you may

want to goback to page 15 to set up .If the

VCR is not trying to change channels,go back to

step 2 to find another code.

may differfrom the description above. See the

User’sGuide that came with your VC R form ore

information.
