SETTING UPTHEREMOTETO CON TROL YOURTV

1. Find the brandname of your TV in the TV code

tablesstarting on page 30. You will be referring to

this locationfor codes in the instructions below.

2. Turnon your TV.

3. Press andhold untilboth lightsturn

on (it takes aboutfive seconds).

4. Release . lightwill flash.

5. Press . Notice lightturns on and stays on.

6. Enterone of the three-digit codes for your TV from

the TV code tables while light is on.

Note:You have about 20 seconds to begin entering

the TV code.

7. Press the MUTE button and watch light.

If lightflashes three times, the code is valid

andyou can go to step 8. If lightdoes not flash

at all,the code may not have been entered

correctly.So, start over from step 3 andtry the code

again.

8. Press andyour TV should shut off. If your TV

shuts off,go to step 9. If not, pick another code for

your TV brandfrom the TV Codes table and go

backto step 3. If you have tried all of the codes and

none work, go toHow toScan for TV and VCR

9. Turnyour TV back on by pressing again and

trythe other buttons below to make sure they work.

•Press the 0through 9buttons to changechannels

on yourTV.
