USING THE REMOTE CONTROL FOR OFF-AIR TV

PROGRAMMING

OFF-AIRCHANNE L CONTROL BUTTON

Touse the remote control to get programs from an off-ai r

antenna andoperate your TV, you must first press ,

which will do threethings:

•Turnsoff the satellite receiver to pass through your

off-air antenna to your TV tuner. Towatch off-air

channels, you must have an off-air antenna connected

as instructed in Setting Up to Switchthe TV to a

PreferredOff-Air Channel on page 10.

•Tunesyour TV to your preferred off-air channel. This

function works only ifyou have completed the

instructionsin Setting Up to Switch the TV to a

PreferredOff-Air Channel on page 10.

•Makes the remote controlbuttons work as described

below to support off-airprogramming. For any of

these buttonsto work, you must first have completed

the instructionsin Setting Up the Remote to Control

YourTV on page 5.

POWER BUTTON

Press the POWER button to turn the TV onor off.

VOLUME BUTTON

Press thesebuttons to raise (+)ortolower(-)the sound

volume on theTV.
