Touse these added buttons and other features to control
your TV,follow the step-by-step instructions belowto set
up yourremote control. This setup also requires you to
connect yoursatellite receiver to your TV’s tuner using
coaxialcable. After completing your setup, see How to
Use the RemoteControl on page 23 for more details on
each button.
INSTALLING BATTERIES
Before you can usethe remotec ontrol,you must install
four AAA batteries.Use batteries of the same grade, for
example,alkaline or carbon zinc, and do not mix different
grades.Alkaline batteries provide longer battery life.
1. Press down on the arrow on the battery cover and
slide offthe cover.
2. Insert the new batteries, making sure thatthe ends
marked“+” are installed as shown inside the battery
compartment.
3. Replace the battery coverby sliding the cover back
into place.
