Dump Command Structure

Dump Command Structure

Dump command structure is a query but does not follow the same response pattern as the Query command struc- ture. The Query command structure Response started with a * (asterisk). Dump outputs information in XML.

Status Command Structure

Status command structure is a query but does not follow the same response pattern as the Query command struc- ture. The Query command structure Response started with a * (asterisk). Status outputs information in formatted

sentences.

Command Structure

Each main body of the command structure is separated by a comma (44 in decimal or 0x2C in hex.)

&DT,<dd>,<COMMAND>,<SUBCOMMAND><cr>

ddis the address of the command. Valid addresses are:

CH: DT22 chassis

ST: Selected Tuner

• R1: First AM/FM radio

R2: Second AM/FM radio

• S1: First SIRIUS module

S2: Second SIRIUS module

&DT will always preceed the Command:. <SUBCommand> may or may not be used.

<cr> carriage return will always follow the command.

<COMMAND>

All commands will be acknowledged if they are successfully decoded.

Commands which are not understood will be ignored, and no response will be generated. The ACK response will look like this: *DT,dd,ACK<cr>

Power On/Off/Toggle

Command:

&DT,CH,POWER,ON<cr>

Function:

Turns DT22 on.

Command:

&DT,CH,POWER,OFF<cr>

Function:

Turns DT22 off.

Command:

&DT,CH,POWER,TOGGLE<cr>
