1	ON/OFF: Push this button to start
	operation, push the button again to
	stop operation.
2 MODE: Each time you push the
	button, a mode is selected in a
	sequence that goes from AUTO,
	COOL*, DRY, HEAT and FAN, as the
	following figure indicates:
	AUTO COOL DRY	HEAT* FAN
	* Note: Only for heating and cooling		1
	models.

3 SWING: Push this button, the
	louver would swing up and down		3
	automatically. Push again to stop it.		4
4 SLEEP: Press this button to go into
	the Energy-Saving operation mode.		5
	Press it again to cancel. This
	function is only can be used on		6
	COOL, HEAT and AUTO mode and		7
	maintain the most comfortable
	temperature for you.
	Note: While the unit is running
	under SLEEP operation mode, it
	would be canceled if you press the
	other button.
5	FOLLOW ME	(on some

models): Push this button to initiate the Follow Me feature, the remote display is actual temperature at its location. The remote control will send this signal to the air conditioner every 3 minutes interval until press the Follow Me button again. The air conditioner will beep to indicate the Follow Me feature has ended if it does not receive the signal during any 7 minute interval.

6DIRECTION: Press this button to change the swing angle of the louver. The swing angle of the louver is 6o for each press. When the louver swing at a certain angle which would affect the cooling and heating effect of the air conditioner, it would automatically change the swing direction . No symbol will appear in the display area when press this button.

7RESET: When you press the recessed RESET button, all current settings are cancelled and the control will return to the initial settings.

8TEMP/TIME: Push the button to increase the indoor

temperature setting or to adjust

the TIMER in a clockwise

direction. Push the button to decrease the indoor temperature

setting or to adjust the TIMER in a counter-clockwise direction.

9FAN SPEED: Used to select the Fan Speed in four steps- AUTO, LOW, MED or HIGH. Each time the button is pressed, the fan speed mode is shifted.

AUTO LOW MED HIGH

10TIMER: This button is used to preset the time ON(start to operate) and the time OFF(turn off the operation).
