Your printer icon doesn’t appear in the Chooser (Macintosh).

Possible cause

You may need to use a different network path and printer port.

Select a different printer port in the printer’s Properties window and enter the new network path to your printer at the DOS prompt. Then restart your computer. See your Windows NT documentation for instructions on changing the printer port and network path.

Fixing Paper Problems

To avoid most paper handling problems,:

Use smooth, high-quality media designed for ink jet printers that meets the media specifications in Appendix D.

Follow all loading and handling instructions included with the media.

Load the media with the printable side face up as described on the Start Here card and in Chapter 2.
