If you are printing with margins, set the following options:

Tip: Creating a user-defined paper size generally lets you make the best use of your roll paper.

Auto Rotate saves paper if your document length is shorter than the printable width of the roll. The document is automatically rotated 90 degrees and printed crosswise. Be sure to click Roll Width and select the width of your roll paper.

Print Page Line prints trim lines on the right and bottom edges of your pages.

5.Select the size of your image as the Size setting.

To make the best use of your paper, creating a custom paper size is recommended. Click User Defined. You see this screen:

Type a name for your custom size, then enter the size in inches (or millimeters) and click Save, then click OK.

6.If you want to print multiple copies, change the print orientation, or reduce or enlarge your image, click the Page Layout tab. See page 84 for more information.

7.After making your settings, click OK.

Borderless Printing

For true borderless printing on roll paper, you can select either Auto Expand or Retain Size and create a custom paper size, as described in “Choosing Roll Paper Options” on page 80. Your image may be clipped on the left and right edges, but you can minimize clipping by sizing your image according to the page width and by adjusting the length.

For either setting, you should add 0.1 inch to the length of your custom size.
