Direct Connection to a FireBall Server

The simplest way to connect a FireBall-MP client to a FireBall Server is to use a special Etherent cables commonly called a “crossover” cable.

Connect one end of the Ethernet crossover cable to the Ethernet port on the back of the

FireBall Server and the other end to the Ethernet port on the back of the FireBall-MP.

If your FireBall Server is an older FireBall model without built-in Ethernet, you will have to obtain an optional HPNA to Ethernet bridge such as the Escient HPNA Broadband Kit. Please contact your Escient dealer.
