4.With the cover open, place the supply end of the ribbon in between the two black Ribbon Drive Hubs located on the far right-hand side of the printer’s interior. Make certain that the ribbon is fed from underneath the ribbon roll.

HINT: The Ribbon Drive Hub nearest you, as you are looking into the printer from the front, is spring loaded. Use the end of the ribbon supply core to push in this Ribbon Drive Hub when inserting the ribbon.

5.Place the take-up end of the ribbon roll in between the two black Ribbon Drive Hubs located about six inches (152mm) to the left of the ribbon supply Ribbon Drive Hubs. Load the ribbon take-up end of the ribbon just as you loaded the ribbon supply end in step 4. When loaded properly, the ribbon should feed underneath both ends of the ribbon roll.

6.Close the cover. When you start to print, the Ribbon Drive Hubs will automatically engage the ribbon core notches.

IMPORTANT! Do not reverse the ribbon. Damage may occur to the thermal printhead!
