Power supply cord requirements for U.S.A (for electric models only)

Only a UL listed power-supply cord kit a suitable length for the installation and rated 120/240 V min, 30 A and marked with use for clothes dryers shall be used.

This shall have ring terminals to connect to the dryer.

The UL-rated strain relief included with it shall be suitable for a 1 1/8” (28.5 mm) hole.

Connecting by direct wire

Power supply cable must match power supply (4-wire or 3-wire) and be:

Flexible armoured or non-metallic sheathed copper cable (with ground wire). All current- carrying wires must be insulated.

10 gauge AWG solid copper wire (do not use aluminium wire). Suitable length for the installation.

A UL approved strain relief must be used.

Grounding for a direct wired appliance

This appliance must be connected to a grounded metal permanent wiring system, or an equipment grounding conductor must be run with the circuit conductors and connected to the equipment-grounding terminal on the appliance.
