4.La bomba de filtro hace pasar el aceite o la manteca a través del medio filtrante, circulando por la olla durante un proceso de depuración que dura 5 minutos. La depuración limpia el aceite atrapando las partículas sólidas en el medio filtrante.

5.Después de filtrar el aceite (unos 5 minutos), cierre la válvula de drenaje y deje que se llene otra vez la freidora. Deje que la bomba de filtro funcione 10 a 12 segundos después de que comience a salir el aceite o la manteca por las aberturas de la regadera Power Shower. Apague el filtro, quite la Power Shower y déjela drenar.

ADVERTENCIA

La bomba de filtro está equipada con un interruptor de ajuste manual en caso de que el motor del filtro se recaliente u ocurra una falla eléctrica. Si se dispara este interruptor, apague la alimentación al sistema del filtro y deje enfriarse el motor de la bomba durante 20 minutos antes de intentar restablecer el interruptor (vea la foto abajo).

6.Asegúrese de que la válvula de drenaje esté totalmente cerrada. (Si no está totalmente cerrada la válvula de drenaje, no funcionará la freidora.) Encienda la freidora y deje que el aceite o la manteca vegetal llegue al punto fijo.

PELIGRO

La bandeja para migajas en las freidoras equipadas con un sistema de filtración debe desocuparse en un recipiente no inflamable al final de cada jornada de fritura. Pueden tener combustión espontánea algunas partículas de alimentos si quedan remojándose en ciertos materiales de manteca vegetal.

ADVERTENCIA

No golpee las cestas de fritura ni otros utensilios sobre la tira de unión de la freidora. La tira sirve para sellar la unión entre los receptáculos para freír. Si se golpean las cestas sobre la tira para desalojar manteca se distorsionará la tira, perjudicando su ajuste. El diseño facilita un ajuste preciso y solamente debe quitarse para fines de limpieza.
