9Setting the Exposure Mode Dial

■By setting the exposure mode dial to z (AUTO mode), you can leave the exposure settings to the camera when you take pictures.

Switch the camera “ON”.

Set the exposure mode dial to “z” (AUTO mode).

•The shutter speed and aperture settings are shown on the top display panel.

3	Set the focus mode selector switch to “AF” (auto
	focus).

•Make sure that the focus mode selector switch clicks when you select the setting.

•To focus on your subject, hold the shutter button halfway (☞ P.28).
