Rear Display Panel Setting the Sharpness

Use this setting to soften or sharpen the outlines in an image and to adjust the quality of the photographed image.

Press the “FUNC” button twice.

The

icon for the sharpness setting appears on the

rear display panel. Press function button [3].

With the sharpness set to “STD”

The display changes in the cycle shown below each time function button

[3]is pressed.

OFF

The same settings can also be selected by holding down function button

[3]and pressing “a” on the 4-direction button. You can select settings in the reverse order by holding down function button [3] and pressing “b” on the 4-direction button.

Sharpness processing is not applied in this setting. Use this

 

 

 

setting for images that will undergo image processing for use in

• If you want to view or print the image data directly, do not select “OFF”.
