Flickering stripes on the monitor screen

Brightness control is set to dark

ÊSet the brightness control to bright. For detailed information, please refer to the Operating Manual supplied with your monitor.

Power cable or monitor cable not connected

ÊSwitch off the monitor and the server.

ÊCheck whether the power cable is properly connected to the monitor and to the power outlet.

ÊCheck whether the monitor cable is properly connected to the server and monitor (if it is plugged in with a connector). If a separate graphics card is installed in the server, then the monitor cable must be connected to the connection of this graphics card.

ÊSwitch on the monitor and the server.

Switch off the server immediately.

Monitor does not support the set horizontal frequency

ÊFind out which horizontal frequency your monitor screen supports. You will find the horizontal frequency (also known as line frequency or horizontal deflection frequency) in the documentation of your monitor.

ÊRefer to the documentation for your operating system or the corresponding driver software for the screen controller for how to set the correct horizontal frequency for your monitor, and follow the procedure accordingly.

7.5No screen display or display drifts

The wrong horizontal frequency and/or resolution has been selected for the monitor or for the application program.

ÊFind out which horizontal frequency your monitor screen supports. You will find the horizontal frequency (also known as line frequency or horizontal deflection frequency) in the documentation of your monitor.

ÊRefer to the documentation for your operating system or the corresponding driver software for the graphics card for how to set the correct horizontal frequency for your monitor, and follow the procedure accordingly.
