HARD DRIVE OR REMOVABLE MEDIA DRIVE ACCESS INDICATOR
The Hard Drive Access indicator states whether your internal hard drive or optional second hard drive is being accessed.

The Hard Drive Access indicator does not show which hard drive is being accessed.
BATTERY CHARGING INDICATORS
Located to the left of each of the Battery Level indicators is a small arrow symbol. This symbol states whether that specific battery is charging. This indicator operates whether the power switch is in the On or Off position, and will flash if the battery is too hot or cold to charge.

FLOPPY/SUPERDISK DRIVE
ACCESS INDICATOR
The Floppy/SuperDisk Drive Access indicator states whether the floppy disk or SuperDisk drive is being accessed. This indicator will flash if your software tries to access a disk even if no floppy disk drive is installed. (See External USB Floppy Disk Drive on page 43 for more information)
PC CARD ACCESS INDICATORS
The PC Card Access indicators state whether or not your notebook is accessing a PC Card. The first icon repre- sents the PC Card slot; the second icon represents a PC Card slot located in the Flexible Bay. The indicators will flash if your software tries to access a PC Card even if there is no card installed. (See PC Cards on page 49 for more information)
