Fan Power Board Overview

Fan power boards carry power to the system fan modules. They also contain fan
module status LEDs and carry status and control data for the fan modules.
Youmust remove both fan power boards in order to access the following
components:
Paddle card
(SPARCEnterprise T5220 server) Hard drive data cables

Remove the Fan Power Board

If you are removing the fan power boards to access the paddle card or harddrive
cage, you must remove the server from the rack. See “Remove the Server From the
Rack” on page 64.
1. Power off the server.
