2.25.9 Lost target alarm (ARP)

When the system detects a lost target, the target symbol becomes a diamond and tracking is discontinued after one minute.

Canceling a lost target

1.Place the cursor on the target.

2.Press the CLEAR key.

2.25.10 Showing, hiding ARP target tracks

ARP target tracks may be shown or hidden as follows.

1.With a plotter display selected, press the MENU key followed by the CHART SETUP and TRACKS & MARKS CONTROL soft keys to open the TRACK CONTROL menu.

2.Use the Cursor pad to select TARGET TRACKS DISPLAY.

3.Press the EDIT soft key to show the target track display window.

4.Use the Cursor pad to select one of the following:

ON or OFF (no ARP or AIS): Turn on or off target tracks

ARP ONLY (ARP equipped): Show only ARP tracks.

AIS ONLY (AIS equipped): Show only AIS tracks. (for future use)

BOTH: Show both ARP and AIS tracks.

5.Press the ENTER soft key.

6.Press the MENU key to close the menu.
