KODAK picture CD features

This method was developed for archiving analogue photographs. After they are developed, small photographs are scanned with a resolution of 1536 x 1024 pixels and burnt onto a CD in JPEG format. A KODAK picture CD can contain up to 40 pictures. In addition to the picture files, a KODAK picture CD can also contain imaging software which enables the user to play the CD on a PC, edit the pictures or view a slide show.

Playing back a KODAK picture CD

1Open the »MAIN MENU« of the HDD DVD recorder by pressing »i«.

2Select the »8DVD« menu item with »S« or »A« and press »OK« to confirm.

– Disc mode is selected.

3When you select disc mode, playback starts automatically. The slide show proceeds automatically.

If playback is not started automatically, start by pressing »8«.

4To view the picture for longer, press »!«. Press »8« to continue picture playback.

Adjusting the picture display

The pictures can be rotated or reversed.

1 During playback, press »a« or »s« to rotate the pictures by 90°.

2During playback, press »A« or »S« to reverse the pictures.

3Press »7« to end playback.

Enlarging the picture (zoom)

This function allows you to enlarge or reduce pictures and move them on the screen.

	1	Press »v« during playback or during a pause.
	2	To enlarge or reduce the size of a picture section, press »v«
		repeatedly.
		– The zoom factor is displayed.
	3	Press »a«, »s«, »A« or »S« to move the picture section on
		the screen.
		Note:
	4	You cannot move pictures which have been reduced in size.	ENGLISH
		Press »v« to switch back to full picture.	ENGLISH
