Audio CD playback

Audio CD features

You can recognise audio CDs by this logo.

Audio CDs only contain sound recordings. They can be played in the normal manner via an audio system, just as on a CD player.

The individual tracks are stored in a sequence. There are no folders.

Playback

1Open the »MAIN MENU« of the HDD DVD recorder by pressing »i«.

2Select the »8DVD« menu item with »S« or »A« and press »OK« to confirm.

–Disc mode is selected.

3When you select disc mode, playback starts automatically.

If playback is not started automatically, start it by pressing »8«.

–Display: Track playing time and total playing time.

–Playback stops at the end of the CD.

4Press »!« to pause playback.

5Press »8« to resume playback.

Note:

Press »DISPL« to open the playback menu. The »Mode« menu item allows you to select repeat functions.

6Press »7« to end playback.

Selecting tracks directly with the numerical buttons

1During playback, press »1…0« to enter the one- or two-digit track number and press »OK« to confirm.

– Playback begins with the selected track.

Selecting a track in steps (SKIP)

1Select the next track by pressing »6« during playback.

2Press »5« to select the previous track.

– Playback begins with the selected track.

Fast search

Various speeds are available.

1To select the playback speed, press »m« during playback or »,« repeatedly.

2Press »8« to resume normal playback.
